Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to collaborate with the GM in delivering best-of-class customer service and profitable store operations. You will oversee operations, staff performance, and merchandising to maximize sales while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will mentor sales associates, manage inventory, and ensure efficient walkthroughs, audits, and training sessions.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retail operations.
• At least 1 year in supervisory or lead role.
• Experience in a nursery/landscape environment preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage store operations to meet sales and profitability goals.
• Train and develop store staff, and monitor performance.
• Ensure excellent customer service and safe, clean store environment.
• Control inventory, shrinkage, and operating expenses; manage POS issues.
