Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to perform cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of and willingness to comply with company policies and procedures as outlined in the SOP manual.

Responsibilities

• Authorize and sign for refunds and overrides; count register and deposit money.
• Assist store leadership in maintaining financial integrity and cash control.
• Manage store in Manager on Duty and Assistant Manager absence.
• Train employees on policies, procedures and standards.
• Train associates in stocking and presenting Non-Food merchandise.
• Ensure proper execution of pricing and signage.
• Support scheduling coverage and daily store operations.
