Job summary

Southwest Boulder & Stone is seeking a full-time hourly Assistant Branch Manager for the new Chula Vista, CA location. The role supports the Branch Manager with daily retail operations, customer service, inventory control, and staff supervision.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with computers and POS systems, and have experience managing retail operations and inventory. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, plus the ability to train staff and meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent with retail management experience.
• Experience handling inventory and leading store teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office and POS systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with daily store operations and personnel.
• Open/close store as needed and follow procedures.
• Present merchandise and maintain presentation standards.
• Address customer issues and ensure excellent service.
• Oversee petty cash and daily financial close-out reporting.
• Train new-hires and provide ongoing staff development.
• Lead safety and inventory meetings and monitor KPI targets.
• Support monthly/annual sales goal planning and performance reviews.
