Job summary

Bedrock Landscaping Materials is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support high-volume landscape materials yard operations, guiding sales associates, equipment operators, yard staff and drivers to maintain safety and efficiency. This role works closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

This position emphasizes customer service, scheduling, and cross-department communication, focusing on accurate POS use and inventory control in a busy, seasonal environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or landscape supply preferred.
• Experience supervising drivers/equipment operators.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory tracking.
• Ability to manage high-volume operations and seasonal staffing.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop sales, yard, equipment, and delivery staff.
• Maintain accurate POS transactions and assist cash reconciliation.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and dispatching.
• Track inventory levels and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Prepare and review monthly sales and inventory reports.
