Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Part-time Keyholder to aid the Store Manager in daily operations and provide exceptional customer service. You will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and help maintain inventory and store appearance, including opening/closing in absence of management.

The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays, and involves lifting up to 40-55 lbs as needed while supporting store goals and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• High school completion or equivalent.
• Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Guide store team on operating practices and procedures.
• Greet and assist customers, answer questions and resolve inquiries.
• Handle situations with the best interest of both customer and Company in mind.
• Increase basket size through suggestive selling and promoting promotions.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and ensure accurate inventory.
• Operate cash register, process transactions and handle funds.
• Assist in unloading deliveries, stocking shelves and transferring merchandise to the floor.
• Support the Store Manager in asset protection and daily store operations.
• In the absence of store leadership, assist with opening/closing and cashier support.
• Complete all required training on time.
• Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.
