Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Virginia LLC in Aylett, VA is looking for a part-time associate to greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, locate items, and efficiently complete sales at the POS. You will support store operations and help the Store Manager with daily tasks while keeping the store clean and well-stocked.

Availability must include days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent and ability to read operational directives.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly with team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and thank customers in a positive manner and resolve inquiries.
• Handle customer funds and process transactions at the POS.
• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining a clean, well-stocked store.
• Support Store Manager with daily activities and store operations.
