Gap is seeking an Assistant Manager in Phoenix to set the store tone and drive profitable sales through customer operations, merchandising, and talent development. You will coach Leads and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class experience and collaborate with leadership to meet performance goals.

You are a strong communicator with 1-3 years of retail management, comfortable with flexible scheduling, and able to lift up to 30 pounds while working on the sales floor, stockroom, and office.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for store and team; bring the Gap brand to life for customers.
• Drive profitable sales growth through customer and product operations, merchandising and talent development.
• Collaborate with General Manager/AGM to coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class experience.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and execute action plans to maximize efficiency.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent the brand, understand the retail landscape, and promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
