Job summary

Global Partners LP, a Fortune 500 company, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to assist the general manager in daily store operations in Vermont. You will supervise hourly staff, ensure cash handling accuracy, inventory control, and adherence to policies while promoting guest service and store cleanliness.

The role requires flexibility for day/evening shifts, and candidates should have 1–2 years of supervisory experience, a HS diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Flexibility to work day, night, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs during a shift.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees and uphold standards.
• Monitor cash handling and inventory; assist investigations of shortages/overages.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and related admin duties per policies.
• Manage cash deposits and change orders.
• Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and store image.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety; report issues to management.
• Coordinate gasoline deliveries and engage in promotional initiatives.
• Promote guest service and perform duties per company policies.
