Tractor Supply Company in Michigan seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving financial results, delivering Legendary Customer Experience, and developing Team Members. You will lead across sales, service, front-end operations, and compliance, with potential progression to Store Operations Manager in designated stores.

This role emphasizes leadership in a specialty retail farm and ranch environment, with responsibilities aligning to the store-volume leadership

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented to fulfill requirements.
• Maintain attendance and work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Promote a safe and productive work environment by following policies and procedures.
• Deliver Legendary Service and coaching to Team Members while driving store execution.
• Assist Store Manager with store operations, sales and planning, and task delegation.
• Support hiring, training, and policy enforcement; oversee cash handling and daily routines.
• Lead freight movement, inventory control, and merchandising initiatives as assigned.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and differentiate Tractor Supply from competitors.
