Job summary

Tractor Supply Company seeks an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, front-end execution, and outstanding customer experience in a farm and ranch retail setting. You will support the Store Manager across operations, coaching, and compliance, while aligning to store-volume leadership.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, team development, and daily store execution, with opportunities for growth into Store Operations Manager in designated stores.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Reading, writing, and counting skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied shifts including nights and weekends.
• Uphold a safe and productive work environment by following policies and procedures.
• Deliver Legendary Service and coach Team Members.
• Assist Store Manager with overall store operations and drive sales and profitability.
• Support hiring, training, and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures including cash handling.
