Job summary

Walgreens in Wenatchee, WA seeks a team member to open and close the store in the absence of store management, handle cash, and prepare the floor and stock room for the day.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Coaches other team members on customer service best practices and Walgreens service traits.
• Holds store keys to open/close when needed and assists with vendor deliveries.
• Registers all sales accurately and reviews order exceptions, price verifications, and voids.
• Manages displays, pricing, signage, and stock rotations; assists in resets and revisions.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities across departments and stockroom.
• Assists with bookkeeping activities, cash reports, and ledger entries as needed.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws regarding regulated products and bag checks for team members.
• Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager.
• Serves as liaison between management and staff in the absence of store management.
