Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking an Operations Lead (Part-Time) to support store processes and a selling culture while ensuring compliance with company standards.

The role involves opening, closing, training, and task delegation in a warehouse-format store, with emphasis on safety and ethics. The OL will work with the Assistant Store Manager to optimize staffing, meet labor models, and drive guest experience and sales.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be completed.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and team lift 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and adherence to standards.
• Reliable and trustworthy with ethical behavior.
• Ability to train, lead, and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Open and close store operations and front-end processes, ensuring readiness and security.
• Coordinate staffing with Assistant Store Manager to support traffic and sales.
• Plan daily/weekly tasks to meet store, department, and guest engagement goals.
• Support inventory control, shrink, safety, and loss prevention efforts.
• Lead productivity through coaching, planning, and performance reviews.
• Communicate and train topics to improve customer experience during team huddles.
• Handle freight processes and ensure tidy, stocked shelves and end caps.
• Perform other duties as needed to meet business requirements.
• Maintain open availability for nights and weekends.
