Job summary

Dollar Tree in Lebanon, TN seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help oversee merchandise flow, merchandising standards, and safety compliance while working alongside store leadership.

The role emphasizes supervising, training, and developing Store Associates, ensuring a positive customer experience, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This position is full-time and customer-focused.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts), and loss prevention
• Train and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom
• Protect store assets and cash
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Create a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Ensure cleanliness and neat presentation of bathrooms and floors
• Other duties as assigned
