Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to help run store operations and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, and support the Store Manager in training and developing store associates. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and a positive team atmosphere across the sales floor and stockroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
