Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Georgia to oversee daily store operations in alignment with company standards.

You will supervise all areas assigned by the Store Manager, lead operations in their absence, and ensure exceptional customer service and merchandise presentation. The role requires 2+ years in retail management, strong leadership, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Must demonstrate the ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritizethose tasks, give direction and follow through to completion.
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all areas as assigned by Store Manager.
• Lead entire store operations in Store Manager's absence.
• Schedule Associates to meet objectives and ensure compliance.
• Analyze store reports to control expenses and performance.
• Implement safety policies and maintain clean, safe store.
• Coach and develop non-exempt Associates.
• Lead loss prevention and inventory processes.
• Maintain brand standards and merchandise presentation.
