Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Beaufort, SC to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help supervise daily activities, assist customers, organize merchandise, and ensure clean, safe conditions.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, processing directives, maintaining displays, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention. Strong communication and leadership are essential for a positive, high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Assist customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor, maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store displays and promotional fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect store assets, including cash.
• Ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe environment.
• Keep bathrooms clean and restocked.
• Other duties as assigned.
