Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in North Augusta, SC to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help supervise and train Store Associates while maintaining a safe, friendly environment and ensuring displays and stock areas meet company standards.

The role involves opening/closing procedures, merchandise handling, payroll/scheduling records, and adherence to all policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged merchandise.
• Record keeping including payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and receipts.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout store.
• Other duties as assigned.
