Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Texas to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is organized and displayed effectively.

The role involves opening/closing duties, following corporate directives, maintaining inventory integrity, and coaching Store Associates to deliver friendly, efficient service. This position is full-time and on-site at our Runge location.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
