Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Store Supervisor to direct and coordinate store operations in the absence of senior management. The role focuses on ensuring efficient, economical operations and contributing to the store's financial performance.

You will monitor policy adherence, assist customers at the register, know store layouts, perform safety inspections, and help close the store when required. A background in retail helps drive guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of retail or related experience.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Suggestive selling knowledge.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Monitor associates' adherence to company policies.
• Able to run cashier/register and handle customer concerns.
• Know store layout and safety equipment locations.
• Conduct regular inspections and provide feedback to department managers.
• In the absence of Store Director, manage time clock maintenance.
• May close store: lock doors, turn off lights, arm store.
• Know product locations to assist customers.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked store.
• Follow PPE, safety and cleaning guidelines.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments as needed.
