Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and interpret directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform active store duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize, stock, and maintain seasonal areas; transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures; adhere to safety guidelines.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities; manage displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll records, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; support Store Manager.
• Maintain a positive, safe environment and professional interactions with customers and staff.
• Protect company assets, including cash; ensure security of store and inventory.
• Other duties as assigned/required.
