Job summary

Family Dollar in Park City, IL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, help customers, and develop the team. You will assist in merchandise movement, maintain store standards, and ensure a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail supervisory experience is preferred, and you must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and product placement.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and record keeping.
• Maintain clean and stocked store areas per company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates alongside the Store Manager.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
