Ross Stores, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, supervise associates, and ensure adherence to company standards on customers, merchandising, and loss prevention.

You will help with scheduling, training, performance feedback, and executing company best practices to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction. This role requires English fluency, the ability to work evenings and weekends, and a hands-on leadership style

Qualifications

Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
Fluency in English.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

Direct supervision of all non-exempt Associates and daily operations.
Assist Store Manager in learning all phases of Store operations and uphold company standards.
Ensure proper scheduling of Associates to meet business objectives and payroll controls.
Maintain compliance with State, Local and Federal regulations and Ross policies.
Lead customer service programs and merchandise presentation through training and coaching.
