Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Anderson, SC location to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, merchandise organization, and maintaining clean, safe facilities.

Ideal candidates have strong communication and leadership skills, with retail management experience preferred. This part-time role involves opening/closing duties, payroll assistance, and coaching Store Associates while upholding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and opening/closing tasks.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise and maintain stockrooms, floors, and seasonal displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and store communications."
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and secure assets.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, restrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
