Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a full-time Store Operations Associate in Madison, WI. You will coordinate activities in the absence of Store Director, ensuring efficient operations and contributing to the store's financial performance.

You will monitor policies, assist customers at the courtesy desk, and maintain a clean, well-stocked environment. Responsibilities include time clock maintenance, possible closing duties, product location knowledge, and adherence to safety and guest experience standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail or related experience helpful.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Suggestive selling and knowledge of products.
• Detail oriented and accurate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor associates' adherence to company policies.
• Run cashier register and courtesy desk; address customer concerns efficiently.
• Understand store layout and locations of safety and emergency equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and provide feedback to managers.
• In the absence of leadership, manage time clock maintenance.
• May close store: secure doors, turn off lights, arm/store.
• Know product locations to assist customers.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, well-stocked store.
• Follow PPE, safety, food safety, and cleaning guidelines.
• Follow guest experience guidelines.
• Additional tasks in other departments as needed.
