Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or equivalent.
• Store manager/district manager or direct manager approval required.
• Retail management experience and knowledge of all aspects of store operations desired.
• Staff supervisory experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in delivering a favorable customer shopping experience and develop associate interest in customer service.
• Lead teams in planning, implementing and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Communicate action plans based on Associate Insight survey results to associates.
• Identify store opportunities with department heads and develop timely solutions.
• Model and enforce highest level of customer service and resolve issues.
• Assist in managing total store operations in the store manager's absence.
• Aim to meet or exceed weekly, period, and annual sales, wage, and profit budgets.
