C-A-L Ranch Stores in Rexburg, Idaho, seeks a Manager-on-Duty to oversee daily store operations, promote customer service, and assist the Store Manager in driving sales and profitability.

Responsibilities include coordinating promotions and displays, recruiting and training staff, planning schedules, and controlling inventory and expenses. This role may include forklift/propane duties with proper training provided.

Qualifications

• 3 years retail experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Eagle Browser preferred.
• Experience in different departments of store preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of POS system preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and possess valid driver's license and insurance.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.
• Familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.
• Familiar with reading and understanding industry and financial reports.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate sales promotion activities and merchandise displays and signage.
• Recruit, train, develop, and communicate with staff and assess performance daily, monthly, yearly.
• Plan and prepare work schedules to assign associates to duties.
• Monitor and order merchandise from distribution center to replenish stock.
• Ensure compliance with security, sales, and recordkeeping procedures.
• Address, problem-solve, and resolve customer complaints or inquiries.
• Open and close the store when needed, including security duties.
• Manage payroll budget and fiscal responsibilities with corporate office.
• In the absence of the Store Manager, assume duties to run daily operations.
