Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an associate to help run daily store operations in the Champaign, IL area. You will open and close the store in the absence of management, manage cash, assist customers, and ensure a clean, well-stocked environment.

You will also support pricing, displays, and basic bookkeeping while maintaining high service standards. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, back-office support, and collaboration with the team to deliver a seamless shopping experience for customers

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains inventory counts and assists with pricing, displays, and stock rotation.
• Assists with bookkeeping activities and basic store maintenance as needed.
