Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform duties requiring frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and deliver excellent customer service.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and ensure seasonal areas are maintained.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store records (including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling).
• Maintain clean, stocked, and presentable store areas and protect company assets.
