Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous store management experience in retail, grocery, or similar is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and adhere to safety policies.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and overall presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
