Job summary

Five Below in New York is seeking a capable retail leader to wow customers and oversee daily store operations. You will train crew, supervise staff, manage stock, and act as Manager on Duty, ensuring cash handling and security.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and ability to multi-task with flexible hours including weekends. Position is hourly with starting pay $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew wow customers through personal contact.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure quality customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff.
• Open or close the store, including cash handling and security measures.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and customer service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery processes.
• Perform store maintenance tasks.
