Job summary

Dollar Tree in La Marque, Texas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise flow from delivery to floor, and help train and supervise store associates while maintaining a well-stocked, clean and safe environment.

This role requires strong communication, exceptional customer service, organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy team.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions/concerns.
• Organize merchandise flow from delivery to floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; support loss prevention.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates; ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
