Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Florence, SC to help with store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, and support the Store Manager in training staff. The role requires strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform the physical duties of the role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with inquiries and maintain a positive environment.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and manage stock, payroll, scheduling and deposits.
• Maintain fixtures, promotions, and loss prevention.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Follow all store policies and procedures.
