Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Charleston, SC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, guest service, and team development. You will help with opening/closing, merchandising, inventory, and loss prevention while ensuring a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

You’ll supervise and train store associates, communicate clearly with customers and leadership, and uphold company policies to drive sales and service excellence in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll & scheduling records, and loss prevention.
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
