Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Florence, SC. You will join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team, focusing on merchandising and freight processing to drive sales and store efficiency.

You will assist with daily store operations, maintain store standards, and ensure a positive customer experience while upholding safety and company policies. This role supports a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of daily duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Keep the store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash.
• Maintain professional, respectful interactions with customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Assist Store Manager with additional duties as assigned.
• Process receipt/return of DSD merchandise and manage freight flow.
