Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Everett, MA is seeking a Sales Manager to lead front-end and service operations, driving a high-performing selling culture and a strong customer experience.

You will coach teams, reinforce brand standards, and manage day-to-day execution to achieve key KPIs. You will oversee POS, loyalty programs, and in-store programs while supporting omni-channel services, including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage adherence to SOPs and company programs to ensure legal compliance.
• Coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage to maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations for smooth transactions.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program.
• Drive omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, and Custom Framing operations.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
