Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking an Office/Store Clerk to manage money flow, process transactions, and lead office staff. The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, customer service, and adherence to AML and regulatory requirements.

You will train partners, monitor compliance with tobacco/alcohol and AML policies, and coordinate with store teams to resolve office issues while ensuring a clean, safe shopping environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED and two or more years of related experience required.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.
• Must obtain HIPAA certification through Company LEARN program within 2 weeks of starting in role.
• Must obtain Tobacco/Alcohol certification (TABC/LACT/AATC) through Company LEARN program within 2 weeks of starting in role where applicable.
• Must obtain Anti-Money Laundering (AML) certification through Company LEARN program within 2 weeks of starting in role.

Aufgaben

• Train and develop partners, schedule, plan, assign, and direct work with upper management.
• Oversee AML compliance by reviewing money orders, check cashing, and Western Union activities.
• Conduct daily office audits and prepare bank deposit records and reports.
• Balance cash drawer and maintain accurate money counts.
• Investigate store overages and shortages and report findings to upper management.
• Review cashier transaction reports and maintain office records.
• Coordinate with retail support staff to resolve office-related issues.
• Generate and balance records detailing purchases and transactions.
• Stay current on tender policies for checks, credit, debit, coupons, EBT, etc.
• Process requests for Western Union, money orders, lottery tickets, refunds, rentals.
• Perform store office tasks like ordering supplies, assisting cashiers, handling calls and emails.
