Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Fargo, ND are seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management.

Minimum 3+ years of retail leadership experience is required.

• Ability to lead adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Strong workload planning and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies, standards, and accountability.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the floor.
• Own workload planning and prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock levels and replenishment.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a customer-ready store environment including backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time.
• Oversee Ship-from-Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
• Handle store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train and coach teammates through onboarding and ongoing development.
• Support Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
