Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty in Mattoon, IL. This hourly role centers on leading daily operations, guest service, and team leadership within a fast-paced environment.

You will manage receiving, displays, opening/closing, and inventory integrity while driving sales and adhering to corporate guidelines. A minimum of 2 years in management and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock.
• Manages displays, signage, and seasonal updates per guidelines.
• Owns opening/closing procedures including cash and security.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when required with responsibility for operations.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates to improve performance.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
• Ensures inventory integrity and adherence to corporate policies.
