Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store operations associate (hourly) to manage daily store activities in Columbia, TN. You will oversee stock, merchandising, signage, and customer service while supporting onboarding and training of associates.

The role includes assisting with opening/closing, cash handling, and acting as Manager on Duty when needed, ensuring promotions are executed per corporate guidelines and driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for sales floor placement.
• Sets up and maintains displays for store sections with accurate signage and promotions.
• Handles opening/closing procedures including cash handling and security.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures strong customer service.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Executes market plan with products and signage per corporate guidelines and updates inventories.
