Five Below is looking for a Store Manager on Duty to lead daily operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will guide associates, manage stock, merchandising, and displays, and ensure excellent customer service.

The role requires at least 2 years of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure. This is an hourly position with growth potential within a energetic, value-driven culture.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are highlighted per guidelines.
• Manages opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring smooth daily operation.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates, ensuring effective performance and customer service.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and service.
• Executes market plan with product and signage according to corporate guidelines and inventory processes.
