Job summary

The Michaels Companies Florence, SC store is seeking an experienced retail leader to drive merchandising and operations. This role supports the Store Manager, leads the team, and ensures pricing accuracy, on‑time promotions, and a customer‑ready environment through planning and strong inventory execution.

You will lead desk and floor activities, manage truck unloading, in‑stock levels, POjas, planograms, and asset protection programs while coaching team members to meet store goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure adherence to policies, standards, and store conditions.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, sorting, and merchandise flow to the floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock optimization routines and replenish accurately.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support backroom organization, inventory accuracy, and stock movement.
• Manage price changes and promotional signage for compliance.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs, and ASN receiving.
