Job summary

Michaels Stores in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store through strong workload planning and inventory management.

Responsibilities include leading SOP adherence, managing truck and replenishment, and training staff across departments to maintain high standards and loss

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead and manage SOPs and company programs.
• Maintain pricing integrity and promotional execution.
• Train, coach and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOP adherence and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies, standards, and store conditions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and store leadership.
• Lead truck execution, sorting, and flow to the sales floor.
• Plan workload and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership.
• Maintain in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual standards.
• Support backroom organization and customer-ready environment.
• Manage inventory control, shrink reduction, and signage accuracy.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processing.
• Train and develop team across departments.
• Support Asset Protection practices.
