Job summary

Michaels in Memphis is seeking a Store Leader to help manage operations, uphold SOPs, and deliver excellent customer service across all departments. This position requires 3+ years of retail leadership experience, ability to stand long hours, and strong collaboration with store leadership to optimize staffing and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead and manage SOPs and company programs.
• Experience with store operations and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Maintain store conditions and service standards.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage and floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution and merchandise flow to sales floor.
• Plan workloads and prioritize daily tasks with leadership.
• Execute in-stock optimization routines to improve inventory accuracy.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, customer-ready store and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory accuracy and stock movement.
• Oversee promotions, pricing changes, and ship-from-store fulfillment.
• Process returns to vendor and ASN receiving with proper records.
• Support asset protection to reduce shrink.
