Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandising Manager for the Shawnee, OK area to drive merchandising and operational execution. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing accuracy, and visual standards to deliver a customer-ready store environment.

You will lead a team, manage SOP adherence, and coordinate with store leadership to align staffing and execution with business needs. The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, holding team accountable.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage to maintain floor leadership and service.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram execution to meet merchandising standards.
• Establish visual merchandising standards and product presentation.
• Support a clean, organized store environment including backroom and floor.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant promotional signage and placement.
• Complete price changes on time to maintain pricing integrity.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and accurate order processing.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
