Job summary

Michaels in Houston, TX is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead merchandising execution, pricing accuracy, truck processing, inventory routines, and in-store presentation. You will partner with Store Manager to drive planogram compliance, visual standards, and customer-ready merchandise.

The role emphasizes workload planning, staff coaching, and adherence to SOPs while ensuring in-stock levels, efficient replenishment, and a safe shopping environment across the floor and backroom.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead store operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Strong focus on inventory accuracy, pricing and in-store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandising and operational execution including truck processing and stock flow.
• Maintain planograms, visual standards and pricing accuracy.
• Ensure timely promotional execution and a customer-ready store environment.
• Provide MOD coverage, coach teammates, and support SOP adherence.
• Oversee ship-from-store, RTVs, ASN receiving, and stock integrity.
