Job summary

Michaels Stores in Spring, TX seeks a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising execution and operational standards across the store. You will lead truck processing, pricing accuracy, promotions, and a customer-ready environment, ensuring strong workload planning and inventory management.

As a key leader, you will oversee planogram execution, visual standards, and store processes, while coaching team members and maintaining incident-free operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead SOPs and store programs.
• Strong inventory accuracy and merchandising execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and compliance with company programs.
• Ensure adherence to policies and store standards; hold team accountable.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain store leadership at all times.
• Lead truck processing, merchandising flow, and shelf replenishment.
• Plan workload and daily tasks with store leadership to match business needs.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization (SISO) routines to improve in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain clean, organized store environment and backroom stock.
• Manage inventory control, shrink reduction, and stock movement.
• Coordinate ad sets, pricing changes, and promotional signage.
• Oversee Ship-from-Store fulfillment and returns to vendor processes.
• Handle RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation.
