Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead a high-performing team in a busy retail store, driving top-line growth and ensuring operational excellence. You will oversee shipments, replenishment, omni-channel activities, pricing changes, and markdowns while coaching and developing staff.

The role requires 1-2+ years in retail management, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of fast-paced retail management or related work experience.
• Financial management: driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expenses.
• Retail management: monitoring inventory, operational excellence, service culture, and merchandising directives.
• Leadership: attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, adapting to change, and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals related to sales, loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and expense control.
• Use forecase and payroll budgets to optimize scheduling and productivity.
• Review financial and operational reports and act on insights.
• Lead guest engagement programs and coach associates to improve sales and service.
