Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Manager Trainee to learn the duties of the Store Manager role and develop the skills needed for advancement. The role focuses on delivering a Legendary Customer Experience, building the team, and driving sales and inventory management.

The trainee will learn to manage profit, expenses, shrink, and to promote a safe, productive work environment while supporting community involvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred; supervisory experience helpful.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Education aligned with agriculture or business is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, develop, evaluate, discipline, and retain team members.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend, Add value.
• Lead store operations, inventory, budgets, and productivity for top-line results.
• Schedule and plan daily activities to ensure efficient store operations.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging work environment for all staff.
• Coordinate merchandising, price changes, and vendor communications.
• Assist District/Regional managers to resolve issues and support initiatives.
