Job summary

Walgreens is offering a Store Manager training track in the United States. The program focuses on learning store operations across front-end and pharmacy and completing accelerated development rotations to prepare for Store Manager roles.

The candidate will shadow the Store Manager, gain exposure to merchandising, asset protection, and performance analytics, and complete required trainings and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operation of a Walgreens store (front-end and pharmacy).
• Shadows Store Manager, gains experience, supervises store operations.
• Analyzes financial and performance data to improve store results.
