Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated development track to Store Manager, rotating through front-end and pharmacy operations. You will shadow the Store Manager, complete certifications, and participate in classroom, online, and on-the-job training to readiness for a Store Manager role.

You will learn SOPs, customer service excellence, merchandising, inventory, and loss prevention while spending time in other stores in the area as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.
• PTCB Certification (preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• Managerial experience with another employer in a Retail Store/Hospitality Manager capacity, with people leadership, business management, and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of Walgreens store under Store Manager guidance, including front-end and pharmacy.
• Shadow Store Manager and participate in opening/closing shifts and task delegation.
• Learn SOPs and gain exposure to merchandising, asset protection, and inventory processes.
• Assist in planning and executing store performance improvements and customer experience initiatives.
